Evacuation Maps-You Are Here Maps

An Evacuation Map is one of the elements of the Emergency Action Plan(EAP) required by the US Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.  See link: (29 CFR 1910.38(a)

Tactile Signage, Inc. can assist your company in developing this element of your OSHA EAP for your work place.  All employers who have 10 employees or more must comply with OSHA's requirement.

TSI would utilize your CAD files to develop either a 2D or 3D Evacuation Map.  The evacuation map is used to direct occupants to the nearest evacuation route in time of emergency and are posted prominently for all to see. We can create your building site in CAD from paper drawings.

Evacuation Maps would be either laminated and mounted in a custom acrylic frames or directly printed on various substrates.  Our staff will enhance the map with icons for all fire extinguishers, fire pull stations, elevators,  exit routes, stairwells, AEDs and room identifications.  These maps can also be made to comply with the Clery Act or other local and state regulations.
Evacuation Maps can also be used as a Locator Plan, web presentation, handouts for visitors and employees to use.  Please review select maps below.
