An Evacuation Map is one of the elements of the Emergency Action
Plan(EAP) required by the US Department of Labor Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. See
(29 CFR 1910.38(a)
Tactile Signage, Inc. can assist your company in developing this
element of your OSHA EAP for your work place. All
employers who have 10 employees or more must comply with OSHA's
TSI would utilize your CAD files to develop either a 2D or 3D
Evacuation Map. The evacuation map is used to direct
occupants to the nearest evacuation route in time of emergency
and are posted prominently for all to see. We can create your
building site in CAD from paper drawings.
Evacuation Maps would be either laminated and mounted in a
custom acrylic frames or directly printed on various substrates.
Our staff will enhance the map with icons for all fire
extinguishers, fire pull stations, elevators, exit routes,
stairwells, AEDs and room identifications. These maps can
also be made to comply with the Clery Act or other local and
Evacuation Maps can also be used as a Locator Plan, web
presentation, handouts for visitors and employees to use.
